EVERYDAY BEAUTY TIPS
Applying cosmetics to the eyes
When applying Concealer or eye creme with your fingers always use your ring finger. Your ring finger is the weakest of all fingers and will be less likely to pull the skin. Following this tip could help prevent wrinkles!
Eyebrow shaping
Don't over pluck. When a hair is out of place it may just need to be trimmed, not plucked. Check to see if the majority of the hair is within the browline. If so just trim it.
Healthy skin
For a luminous sun kissed look use bronzer instead of baking in the sun, which can damage your skin.
Sharpening eyeliner and lipliner pencils
Place eyeliner and lipliner pencils in the freezer for 5 minutes before sharpening. This will make them a little harder giving you a nice sharp tip.
Helping the environment by buying high-quality cosmetics,
brushes and tools
High-quality brushes and tools will last a lifetime and will not need to be replaced every couple years like cheaper versions. Likewise, high-quality cosmetics will last much longer than cheaply made products. The reason for this is high quality cosmetics contain more pigment so you use less to get great coverage. This means less waste in the end.
Make your makeup last all day
There are primers for every type of skin that prevent makeup from disappearing. Our top-selling primer has the extra benefit of SPF 20. This virtually weightless serum contains opalescent light reflectors that diminish lines and leaves a translucent effect on the skin. Antioxidant Vitamins A and E seal in moisture, creating the smoothest possible base for foundation.
Make your eyeshadow last all day
With shadow magnet, your shadow will last all day. Shadow magnet is a high-tech, pre-shadow primer. It magnetizes color to lids and holds it in place for ultra-long wear. In addition it keeps shadows color-true.
Fill in your eyebrows without it looking harsh
Always fill in your brows with a pencil that is a shade or 2 lighter than your brow color. Brush over it with a brow brush to soften the pencil line.
Give yourself fuller lips
First, use a lipliner that matches your natural lipcolor. Then, gently trace just outside your lip line. Lastly, fill in your lips with the lipliner and apply a tinted lipgloss or sheer lipstick on top.
Awaken your eyes
Just because you're tired doesn't mean you have to look tired. Dust on some gold eyeshadow from your lash line to the creases to liven up your eyes and make you look like you got your full 8 hours of sleep.
Cover up skin issues
Every woman should have two concealers for a more natural look. One for the dark areas of your face (like under your eyes) and one for the light areas (like your cheeks). Apply your concealer with a small brush and blend. |
